011 [Audio | Closed Action]

I got too old for Santa when I was nine...'cept for the year I was twelve. I asked for a red bicycle. Anyway, haven't written a letter to Saint Nick since then but here in the City...I figger...why not?

No reason for me to put it on the network though.

[She's not surprised to find him in her room. She'd given him blanket permission just the day before so he'd have a place to lock himself away if he wanted to let his other self tinker in his room. She is surprised to find the Doctor asleep on his stomach, sprawled diagonally across her bed. The number of times she's caught him asleep can be counted on one hand and she knows he had to be exhausted to pass out here. Instead of waking him, she tiptoes across the room and curls up in a corner of the bed, her back against the headboard then slips a piece of paper and pen out of the nightstand next to her. She uses the book he was reading from last night as desk to start the letter to Santa that she's compelled to write.]

Dear Santa

[It's a formality for the simple sake of appearances and curses. She knows Santa can't deliver what she wants anymore then he delivered the red bicycle she loved so much]

My list this year is short.

*Real snow on Christmas Day. It doesn't happen as often to me and the Doctor as you think it might.

*I just want to know that Mum, Pete, Tony and Mickey are all right. It's okay that I won't see them again. I made that choice long time ago. Might be nice if you let them know I'm okay and I'm with the Doctor.

*~~Sex with~~ The Doctor. All of him. We're sort of this awkward stage of things, all wanting and no resolve. I want past that. I've waited a long time for it and done a lot of things to get here.

[That whole response doesn't send his mind racing and leave him mildly flat-footed at all. It's like it only just now caught on to the extra layer of meaning.]

Oh, god, doing things in the right order. It's so... linear. I'd much rather circles and zig-zags.

[There's only a hint of worry there really. Mostly she's still teasing and flirting. She leans the slightest bit closer, head tilting up a bit.]

[Right now he's about as capable of running away from her as he is likely to be bored, which is to say really not very capable or much. He doesn't, however, really catch the worry either. Just the flirting. After she moves he looks at her for another couple of moments, and then the hand that isn't propping his head up sort of gesture-points vaguely at her.]

That. Is that a hint? That tilting thing? That means I'm supposed to do things, doesn't it?

[Well now he feels bad. He almost instantly leans towards her more as she pulls back and puts his hand on her arm to keep her going back more.]

Good thing! It was a good thing! Misread it. Didn't read it at all, apparently! Don't do that.

[This seems like sufficient enough reason to take the hint he thought he was getting in the first place and finish leaning in for a very light kiss.]

[Kissing her propped up on his elbow like this is going to get awkward very quickly - and his arm's already starting to fall asleep - so he sort of manoeuvres them so she's lying back a little and he's leaning over her as she deepens things and starts to do that frankly amazing thing with his hair.]

[Yeah, he thought so to. He settles a little better, propped up on his elbows, one on either side of her on the bed, hands sort of roaming about the tops of her shoulders. Not long to deepen it again, just a little.]

[Nibbling is allowed. He is okay with the nibbling. He uses it to taste her better - orally fixated, this incarnation. Hyperactive tongue, wants to taste everything, if it's different to how it was to him before... Also just sometimes he's interested in everything about someone. Like now.

[Oh, well now, arching and moaning is definitely going to elicit a reaction. Namely whatever he thinks he needs to keep going to trigger more of the need and arching. He drops his head a little and moves away from her mouth to that area he'd been working on before around her neck and that pulsepoint. That had been fun.]

[That had been fun. That continues to be fun. Her fingers tangle in his hair a bit tighter, encouraging him to explore that area a good deal more. There's a little bit of breathy noises. She bites down on her bottom lip to keep it all fairly quiet. Shhhh he's driving this one.]

[Ooh, he likes her pulling at his hair a bit. That gets her some low, grumbly noises, while he continues on down her neck towards her collarbone. When he gets there, he sits up a little bit again - he's still basically on top of her, skantways, and runs his fingers across it one side to the other, over her clothes.] Odd bone. [Beat. No wait.] I mean, in general. Yours is lovely. That it exists, I meant. [He gives up on the talking thing for a little bit since, wow, clearly, not working, and sort of does the same thing he'd just done with his fingers, with his mouth, on the bits of it that are exposed.]

[Those low, grumbly noises are amazing and she endeavors to see if she can get more of that out of him. The rambling makes her laugh a little, low and soft. It's so very him and she appreciates that.] Rather like that odd bone myself.

[She's going to unbutton one of the buttons on his shirt and glide her fingers across the his collarbone while he kisses hers. There's not nearly enough of her collarbone exposed though in her open and any emotions he's getting out of her are sort of a low level desire, just beginning to build along with some slight frustration that there isn't enough exposed skin for him to kiss. She lets out a breathy sigh as his lips brush against her bare skin.]

Very lovely. [Maybe his collarbone, maybe what he's doing to hers.]

[All things considered that was a fairly good response to his mid-makeout-rambling. He's glad she agrees, even if he thinks possibly it's to stop him talking at the moment. It likely won't, but.

He's likely got a fair few layers for her to get through. At least the tie and jacket and two shirts, so. Not very good at dressing for these sorts of things, really. That sort of low-level base emotion likely doesn't consciously register but does effect his actions in that they get a bit more concentrated.]

[More concentrated is good. It encourages her to loosen his tie so that she can attempt to work through some of those layers at some point. She keeps a hand tangled in his hair and she tangles one of her legs up with his, pulling him that much closer to her.]
