Oh. A shop. With things in it.

[He's like a kid in a candy store. And then suddenly. He sees her.

Oh sweet universe what is she doing here.]

That's just cruel.

[She's never met this version of him so when she hears his comment she looks a bit puzzled at him.]

Pardon? You visitin' the City this weekend? Don't worry. M'told it probably won't last more than a day or two and you'll get to go home proper.

[Oh. Right. She wouldn't know him. Time to pretend like he's a customer!]

Yes! I'm visiting! And shops are lovely things. They sell things to people and have merchandise. Do you work in this shop? You look like a shop girl.

[Recovery mode: Go.]

[Rose hasn't ever met Romana but she's got a fantastic smile and the wave brings a smile to Rose's face so she waves back in return.]

Enjoyin' your holiday?

[She puts the hand back into her pink coat pocket.]

Is that what this is? A holiday? I'm not sure how I got here.

[Don't mind the blond girl streaking by at top speed only to stop a few feet down the sidewalk and jogging back. Making her way inside now.] My first stop on an alien planet!

[Jenny gets a huge smile from Rose when she comes inside the store.]

Alien planet? Not sure if it is one or not. 'Least it's another dimension. Excitin' either way, yeah?

[Rose hasn't been hit with enough horrible curses to hate this place yet.]

[Jenny will just be looking at everything and touching it.]

Everything's an alien planet to me, even in another dimension. I only lived on one my whole life. [She turns towards Rose now.] Very exciting! It's as good as running.

[Jack walking into the shop makes Rose smile.]

Captain Jack, glad to see you're feeling better.

[And he pauses because wait what?]

...Um, do I know you?

What is it that you are experiencing for the first time?

[No way. Absolutely nooooo way and yet. She's probably going to stare a moment then burst into a HUGE smile.]

All the visitors here in the City. Bit overwhelming in a wonderful sorta way, innit?

I experienced it once during my stay here, and now it would appear I have myself become one of the visitors.

[There is now an extremely sulky-looking lanky ginger in the shop, sticking close to the wall with his arms crossed.]

Oh, so they have shops now as well. How convenient.

[Rose grins at him and moves closer, carrying a sweater with her that she's folding.]

Better than the whole lot of us runnin' 'round in our knickers.

If we really are kidnapped, it hardly seems to matter.

This is my first time being in one. It's not too common, is it?

[Rose smiles at the girl on the screen.] Ever few months I think? 'Least that's what I've read 'bout.

At least it's just every few months then. Considering how crowded it is, I bet everyone is ready for thing to return to normal... or as normal as it probably gets anyhow.

Are you in the display?

[ Yep, he was just strolling down the street, looking around at everything, when he saw Rose in the window and had to tease her. Please forgive his lack of surprise, since from his point of view he saw you just a little while ago, and obviously he hasn't regenerated or anything yet. ]

[There will be no talking. She will just tackle him in a hug.]

Now they've got the both of us. 'Least we know what to do if the mannequins start comin' to life. [This is all said mostly into his shoulder. Hopefully he hasn't lost the ability to translate hug muffled words.]

It's a bit fancy in there.

[That is a big grin and she's going to hug him too. It hasn't been that long since she's seen him but still, it's nice.]
