[There's fondness before he hides his eyes with the hat.] I should pick up a hat everywhere I go...

[It's the way he says her name that does it: the same way the Tenth version of him does, the same way the Ninth version did, like she's the most special human in all the Universe. He'll know she's figured it out before she says anything because recognition sweeps over her face and there's a look of absolute, unconditional, 'oh it's you' love on her face.]

[He's going to get a great big Rose hug. She'd apologize about that but well, it doesn't occur to her.]

He--you told me, y'know. Let it slip once that he was regeneratin' when he came here. Plus, met Rory and Amy. She doesn't like me.

[He can't help it. He hugs her back. But why oh why did he have to ruin her life?]

[Oh good. She'd have been very, very disappointed if he hadn't hugged her back. She finally releases him and steps back, her hands still on his shoulders.]

You make everyone think they're the most special human in the whole of the Universe so when the humans find out there have been others, it's a bit hard for them to deal with. Not that she blames him. Never. Ever. In fact she knows he absolutely needs someone to travel with and someone very human (species utterly optional) at that. That's not to say she doesn't have some jealous feelings toward Amy. She does but she's also very glad he found someone to travel with him.]

[And Rose doesn't pick up on it exactly because Ten was a bit less socially awkward.]

I don't see why. You're all different. And were with me at different times. Except when you overlapped and all that. [He grins and adjusts his bowtie.] If you're saying I'm dashing, yes I am.

Because...there's one you and for a little while in the TARDIS, travelin' all over, we feel like we're the only one too. [She can't help but laugh a bit with him, not at him and that turns into a grin. She reaches out and ruffles all that hair.] Always are.

See? Everyone should agree with that. I'm handsome and intelligent. A complete package. Obviously the universe is missing out on an amazing thing.

[Believe it or not, she's glad the ego is still in tact. She'd rather have a Doctor that thinks he's amazing than a Doctor that never realizes he is. She's laughing though.]
