[She stops, brain whirling frantically. It's not her explanation that puzzles her. Rose understands pocket dimensions in as much as a human ever really can. Not how they work, or how they're created but that they can and do exist. What has her stunned, is that this woman knows her and that she knows the Doctor.]

Someone else? Have we met? [Well if she knows the Doctor, this woman could be from her future.] Do I meet you later?

Perhaps. [She smiles mysteriously.] But it's the past, not the future, that you really mean to ask about. We have met, Rose Tyler. Only last time, I suppose I looked a little less... [She pauses.]

Human.

[Brain is tick, ticking away. Someone who knows the Doctor better than anyone. Someone who talks like him. Someone that knows about dimensions and wasn't human the last time she met her. Someone that's a her. But that's not possible, is it?]

Are you--no. It can't be, right?

[That elicits a delighted grin.] Clever girl with the smiles indeed, I knew you would get it! I'm the-- oh, do forgive me if I can't ever remember the word, I'm called so many things these days. But you know, don't you. I'm... his.

We would meet again, wouldn't we... yes, that all lines up nicely. [And now she waves in greeting-- a bit belated.] Hello.

TARDIS. You're. The. TARDIS. [Pardon her while she gapes a bit and then she's laughing.] You're...[And she trails off because the dimension she's just come from, the TARDIS is dead and she helped kill her but that means...]

You're...The. TARDIS.

[Sorry, she's just going to repeat herself. Normally she's more verbose.]

[You'll see the background spinning behind her, because now she's twirling, device in hand. It's one of her new favourite pastimes, the twirling. Another favourite is laughing, so she'll join in on that.]

A bit new, this. I expect we'll both be used to it soon enough. But enough on that-- new, you being here, that's new too! Oh, but he'll be pleased! Have I said that already?

[Rose can understand the twirling and the laughing. They're both fun to do. Although she tends to be more twirly around the Doctor than on her own. The TARDIS' comment about the Doctor being pleased to have her here makes her smile that huge, bashful, gleeful smile.]

I looked for him for so long.

[And now she's even more visibly excited, because there it is, that's the smile she's named Rose for in her mind. It's very nice to see it again.]

He's got your words mixed in with his again, how lovely. [And whether this makes sense or not, at least she seems happy about it.] All the looking, and now seeing.

[It doesn't make any sense at all to Rose but she decides to treat it much the way she would if the TARDIS were the Doctor. The TARDIS appears happy about what she's saying and that's good enough for Rose.]

Got to say I like the seeing. So this place, s'okay?

Oh, it's maddening.

[But she's still smiling, so. Take that how you will.]

[It makes her pause a bit but only a moment before she smiles back a little.]

Long as it's not boring.

It hasn't been yet.

'Least there's that if we can't travel.

Yes. [Something strange comes over her face; this is all still too new for her to be depressed about being unable to go anywhere and any time, but she is at least perplexed by it.] At least.

[She pauses, hesitating because she hadn't thought what it was like for the TARDIS, not being able to travel when it's so much a part of her. She feels a bit guilty bringing it up.]

This is all new to you, yeah? The human body bits, I mean.

Oh, yes. [She holds an arm out in front of her face and sways a bit, shifting her weight to one hip.] All new. Very... soft.

Guess it would be. Do you like it? [She's pretty sure that's a dumb question. She's a box that can travel in time and space, being a human must be so disappointing.]

It's enchanting. [And there is another twirl.]

Only... I wasn't build for it.

So it's tearin' you apart? [She was afraid of this when she found out. She remembers how excruciating it was to have even a part of the TARDIS in her for a moment and now she's all of it.]

Yes. [But when she sees Rose is concerned, she shakes her head.] No. Not now-- was. It-- she-- we're dead now. Not all, the body though. Dead and very resilient now. But with some... limitations.

That's got to be odd. Limitations?

Oh yes. Of course there is the relative immobility. And I can't-- can't think the same. I don't see quite so well. In here. [She places two fingers against each temple, indicating her mind.]

[She furrows her brow a moment, her face going sympathetic. She can't relate, not really but she does remember all the seeing. Only it hurt her. Thankfully TARDIS doesn't seem to have that problem now.]

That's ones got to be as odd as the immobility.

[She nods.]

It's a bit like thinking through a kaleidoscope with a cracked lens. The pieces are split, but what's more, they're irregular so no algorithm can piece them back how they ought to go. Sometimes I know what I'm seeing. But only sometimes. The glass has to be in just the right place.

Oi. Is it because of bein' in a human body or bein' stuck here. The Doctor mentioned it might be severed from all the other time points here.
