[Rose is sitting on the floor in her flat, taking down a Lego wall. Her hair is in pigtails because it seemed appropriate for the curse today. All around her the flat seems to be made of legos--except for the hammock bed, even the City wouldn't mess with the hammock bed.]

How's the rest of the City lookin' 'cause my flat is brilliant. Was just talkin' to the Doctor the other day 'bout planets made of Legos. This is almost as fantastic.

[Derek is pretty amused by the visual. The kids at the center have been having a good time today so far with this curse. Personally, Derek's been going around repairing all the legos that makes up the big youth center building that somehow get undone in one way or another. He's not sure he likes that the Center is so easy to take apart right now.]

Looks like you're having fun.

[She can see how that would bother most people. He gets a bit grin though.]

Yeah. Who doesn't like Legos. Makes you feel like a little kid again. M'sorta wonderin' if I get 'em all arranged the way I want, if it'll stick when midnight comes 'round.

[It's probably a little more personal since he put so much hard work into that place, building it very nearly from the ground up. But he knows that it's pretty easy to have fun with a curse like this too.]

Hey, I loved legos when I was a kid. And hey, they might. Maybe I should put a third story on this place.

[Well and she was literally talking to the Doctor days ago about how brilliant a planet of Legos would be so it's almost a wish come true for her.]

Couldn't hurt. 'Sides, it'd be fun. You got enough extra blocks there for that?

Probably not.

[He looks up and around the main room of the youth center and back to the video. He smirks and shakes his head.]

I'll probably just stick with the maintaining. So you were all prophetic about this thing, huh?

Yeah. Guess we sorta did. Doctor and me were talkin' 'bout what we were gonna do when we got outta here. Told him we'd have to stop and pick my little brother, Tony, for a trip. Take him somewhere like a planet made of Legos. That got us on how brilliant it'd be.

You have family here?

[He's still getting to know Rose, of course. But he's always surprised when people have family here in this place. Surprised and nervous that the City might pull his sisters in here, or his mom. He doesn't want their lives back home disrupted like that.]

[He's decided to build towers and such with one of the tables in the room and whatever pieces he tripped over before realising that everything was something to be tripped on.]

Definitely brilliant. After everything changes back we should get more and be able to do this all the time. Without damaging the structural integrity of the flat. Glad we're on the top floor. And sincerely hope no one below us is also dismantling the walls.

[She makes an ewww face and hisses between her teeth.]

Hadn't thought of that. [Hastily putting the wall back up.]

Was just thinkin' 'bout given us a balcony.

No. Just the Doctors, TARDIS and Donna here. [She doesn't know Amy and Rory well enough to count them in with her family yet.]

Was talkin' 'bout when he figgers out how to get us outta here. We're goin' to do some travelin'. Probably stop by and say hi to the family I don't got here.

Ah, you mean sibling from home. So you got a brother named Tony. Older or younger?

[He shrugs a little bit.] There's probably something safeguarding against it, past curses anything to go on.

I wonder if the balcony would still be there... Or if it would revert back and we'd have half a wall and a new balcony.

[Oh he gets a big smile.] Sorta what I was thinkin'. We buy a door, some windows and put 'em in. Demolishin' is loads easier today.

Loads younger. He was just 'bout a year and a half last time I saw him. Mum and Dad got back together. Decided on havin' a baby.

[Back together isn't exactly what happened but it's the easiest way to explain it.]

Construction too! [Well, granted, he's mostly just making normal-sized Lego buildings, although they might need all of them for this balcony thing.] Might have to borrow some from the things on the roof that really aren't all that necessary to make sure we have enough.

Ought to give it a shot anyhow. It'd make havin' Janine visit lots easier and might be nice to have a balcony in the summer. Could do some sunbathin' and star gazin'.

How big a balcony are you thinking about? [To have Janine on it. Bit bigger than he was thinking she meant.]

Just big enough for a coupla chairs and a little table. With a good, thick railin'. Janine can perch.

She seems quite good at perching. Got the feet for it. [He pulls a few more pieces off to add to a tower and then stops.] I guess I ought to find somewhere else to get building materials if there's going to be a table out there anyway.

Yeah. Might as well. We'll head up to the roof, find the unnecessary bits. [She lays aside her wall taking down bits and stands up, glancing at him.] Should be able to find somethin'.

[He hops up and dusts himself off and goes a bit bouncy because everything is Lego and it's just hard not to be bouncy. Towards the door.] There don't seem to be enough reds and yellows to finish these anyway. I wonder how many of these things I can fit in my pockets. Haven't had a chance to test the internal dimensions in a while! Well, not of these.

[She pops over to the kitchen and grabs a reusable grocery sack] Just in case they don't quite work as well here [She grins at him and takes his hand, just as bouncy for the same reasons. It's hard not to be bouncy with Legos. Especially, when clearly, this curse was done just for them.]

[Entirely reasonable and with marked amounts of forethought. Or at least I-don't-want-to-walk-up-and-down-stairs-more-than-I-have-to-thought. The hand holding is entirely necessary under the circumstances, and he starts towards the roof basically immediately.] They'd better work. Well, I mean, they do work, I just haven't tested to see how well. Makes it very difficult to pull the specific thing you're looking for when you put too much in.

[They're them. Isn't the hand holding always necessary?]

End up pullin' out bits of wire and string and bananas instead, yeah?

[She's seen him try to pull specific things out of his pockets.]

If you can get it in your pocket, it'll hold it, right? Shoulda had you 'round when Cherise and me were shopliftin' years ago.

Yeah, I'd say that's an age difference. It's nice that they're all together though, your mom and dad.

[Family always has been and always will be important to him.]

I have two sisters, both older, Sarah and Desi.
