New Years Resolutions
Keep the flat up a bit better.

Write everything down

That's enough of that, yeah? Plenty to keep me busy this year.

That's enough of that, yeah? Plenty to keep me busy this year.

[Add another project to a list that's already too long.]
S'not like doin' dishes and cleanin' the bathrooms. More like...I don't want to miss anythin', y'know? [That part is honest at least. And then some teasing.] But if you like, I can talk to Cinna 'bout you takin' over some of my shifts.

[What momentary 'oh' he experiences is immediately replaced with a mix of mild horror and distaste.] No, no, that's quite alright. You have fun. I don't think that's a good idea. Drive him mental in a few hours. And he's so polite. It doesn't make sense. How can anyone be that polite?
no subject
[Oh good. That was exactly the reaction she was hoping for, distract him from the whole sleep issue.] Got a point. [And a teasing grin] Just figgerin' out not everybody's rude?
no subject
[Hurt face. Playfully hurt, Rose.] I can be polite! Usually there's just not enough time for it or... I forgot to. Anyway, all the time? C'mon.
no subject
[Oh Doctor. She just grins] Actually you can be very polite and thoughtful sometimes.
no subject
[Entirely mollified.] Thank you. Very kind of you.

[Oh good. She likes when that happens.] Saint Rose, 'member. Part of my very long, impressive title.
no subject
Long, very impressive. Ought to see what we can do about finding you new activities to be brilliant at so you can keep adding to it.
no subject
Addin' that to my resolutions. Still got to get 'round to finger paintin' a wall in the flat. We can add artist to my title then.

[That'll go on her
and minelist of things to do. If she's ever little when he's big, she's also going to use him as a jungle gym and ride on his shoulders.]no subject
[...We have to do that now. God their list is getting big.]
no subject
[Yes! I'm going to type up what I remember, send it to you and let you add what you remember and then I'll make it a post in her journal so that we'll have it at hand to work through.]

[And then a quiet pause. When she speaks again her voice is kind of...ragged at the edges. She's trying not to be upset about it because she knows he's right.]
He's going to get his own flat. Maybe down the hall from ours. [She's not going to cry over this. She is not. She still has both of them. She'll get to see both of them every single day.]
no subject
But again, Rose is clearly not as okay with the idea.] That's probably a good idea. Spread us all out a bit. Let Donna and Amy and Rory and Sexy all visit him without having to come here all the time to do it.

[She doesn't want to lose either of her Doctors and irrationally, she somehow believes the closer they are to her, the less likely they are to be taken. She knows it's ridiculous.]
M'bein' daft. I know.

It'd better not. If you do, you're going to find me. I'm goin' to look for you. Remember?
no subject
You'd better. I'll clearly not know how to find you; that apparently only works for short distances. Any sort of long, universe-crossing expanse and you're the only one of any use.
no subject
Mmmm good point. Guess I ought to brush up on my universe-crossin' skills.
[And she will actually. In fact, she will likely take advantage of having him here and ask him things that she didn't understand before but went on gut instinct. Next time, she's unlikely to have a TARDIS to help her out.]
