[he should have known she'd get back to it eventually. She's too stubborn to let things go. When he leans back, she scoots closer, unfolding from herself and mirroring his pose. She moves close enough that her knee touches his and she reaches out to put her hands on his knee and his calf. She won't let him go through this alone anymore then he would let her go through hers alone.
