[She's also stalling, a bit and giving them both a chance to get used to this, the idea of this. She doesn't want either of them to regret this later. Nor does she want minds to be changed. Slow, lots of permission and easy teasing is better in the long run regardless of how much she wants to push faster and harder. It's part of the reason she keeps her cheek pressed to his but the other reason is because she wants to savor every single part of this. She wants to savor the way he feels against her, the way he tastes and smells and sounds. Later, whatever happens, she doesn't want to loose any of this. It creates a feeling of overwhelming love, desperation and nerves not to mention a good deal of flirting and teasing.]
