[Rose is sitting on the floor in her flat, taking down a Lego wall. Her hair is in pigtails because it seemed appropriate for the curse today. All around her the flat seems to be made of legos--except for the hammock bed, even the City wouldn't mess with the hammock bed.]

How's the rest of the City lookin' 'cause my flat is brilliant. Was just talkin' to the Doctor the other day 'bout planets made of Legos. This is almost as fantastic.

We can do that next, yeah? Assuming we have enough tiny colored bricks. Amazing what you can build with those. Whole tiny civilizations.

We can find more blocks. Whole City's full of 'em.

[She nods enthusiastically.]

Used to build houses and the like when I was a little girl.

[ He grins. Today: is awesome. ]

Houses are too simple. Made a replica of the Eiffel tower in the bedroom. Probably should put it back before midnight, though. In case we want the bed again.

I dunno, I sorta think we ought to move the replica in here and buy a new bed. Sounds more interestin'.

[And really Rose has a proper bed and then there's the hammock bed. Considering how little the Doctors sleep, it seems enough bed space.]

If you insist.

[ Insist, right. No, he was totally looking for an excuse. He goes back into the bedroom and comes back with the lego Eiffel, which stands about half his height. Would have been larger but he ran out of bricks, alas. ]

This'll fit right in, I think. [ He sets it down where the Christmas tree had been. ]

S'brilliant. Far as flats go, I think we've got the best one.

[And she's not even just indulging him. She actually wants the replica in the living room.]

No argument. Going to have to really step it up when I get one of my own. Maybe get an aquarium. Fish are nice.

Fish are nice. Lift the no decoratin' ban and I'll come help you.

I think I can figure out when to feed fish, Rose. [ He smiles, though. ] I might let you. If you're good.

I know you can. Figured out when to feed me quick enough.

It's not like you would have let me forget. Regular stops for chips. Practically scheduled in.

[She grins at him.] Important part of travelin'--all the eatin'. Besides runnin' takes energy.

That it does. Have to keep you in top shape for it.

[ He crosses the room to lean against the hammock bedcouchthing a little. ] Nothing restful as this. Bet we put one of these in when we get back to the TARDIS.

Tiptop. Brilliant job you're doin' too.

[Rose crosses over to flop into the hammock rather soundly]

Absolutely. String it 'cross the console room, park her out in some constellation, pop the door open and do some star gazin'.

I don't know that it'd look right in the console room. TARDIS might get jealous she can't sit with us.

[ Oh, yes, he will never be able to stop anthromorphizing her now. ]

[She ponders that a moment. She might not have initially thought it but she understands it.]

Mmm good point. Got to be somewhere with a good view. [It's the reason the hammock is face a grouping of windows now.]

Maybe in the garden. Nice and relaxing.

[ He doesn't spend a lot of time in there, really, but it's the perfect place for a hammock. ]

[This is surprise on her face. Although she's not sure why.] There's a garden?

[ Grins in a proud kind of way. ] You didn't think you'd seen all of the TARDIS, did you?

Not...exactly. [She didn't think she'd missed a garden] But isn't a garden usually more...outside?

[She still thinks of the TARDIS as an inside thing in the way that buildings are inside.]

Doesn't matter. We can bring outside indoors. There's plenty of room for it. There's a swimming pool too, somewhere in there.

Heard 'bout the pool. Never did find it though. Shame. [She did have a swim suit on board just in case]

You'll have to ask himself to show it to you. Never one much for swimming, me. But some companions liked it a lot.

I'll add it to m'list of demands. [It's said teasingly but she's got quite the list. She pauses a moment.] Is it weird? Knowin' you're goin' to become him?

A bit, yeah. Like I said, it's not like I usually get a chance to see it in advance. Feels all backwards.
