[Rose is sitting on the floor in her flat, taking down a Lego wall. Her hair is in pigtails because it seemed appropriate for the curse today. All around her the flat seems to be made of legos--except for the hammock bed, even the City wouldn't mess with the hammock bed.]

How's the rest of the City lookin' 'cause my flat is brilliant. Was just talkin' to the Doctor the other day 'bout planets made of Legos. This is almost as fantastic.

[Rose crosses over to flop into the hammock rather soundly]

Absolutely. String it 'cross the console room, park her out in some constellation, pop the door open and do some star gazin'.

I warn you, it can get to frankly gargantuan levels at certain points, start messing with it too much.

I don't know that it'd look right in the console room. TARDIS might get jealous she can't sit with us.

[She ponders that a moment. She might not have initially thought it but she understands it.]

Mmm good point. Got to be somewhere with a good view. [It's the reason the hammock is face a grouping of windows now.]

Mmmmhmmm. Yeah. [So much teasing grinning] I know. M'pretty confident I can keep it in check anyhow.

Maybe in the garden. Nice and relaxing.

[ He doesn't spend a lot of time in there, really, but it's the perfect place for a hammock. ]

[Mutual.] I'd say you've got a fair shot at it, yeah.

[This is surprise on her face. Although she's not sure why.] There's a garden?

Delicate procedure, y'know. Makin' sure it doesn't get deflated and keepin' it in check all at the same time.

[Not that she ever actually does must to keep it in check. Most of the time, his past in general is enough to do that. She would though, if he needed it.]

You make me sound like a hot air balloon.

And no hot air jokes.

[She does a good part in channelling how he happens to be viewing his own history to how it effects him in the present. It's not as direct but it's just as helpful, and in the long run probably far more so, having to do with perception over momentary feelings and thoughts.]

[She's going to slap both hands over her mouth and have a snort-laugh moment before she takes a deep breath, moves her hands and manages to get out--sort of with her not!laughing and all.]

No jokes. Promise. Not even--[suppressed giggles] one.

[...Well now he's just curious.]

Well...[little giggle] S'plains how the TARDIS flies.

[ Grins in a proud kind of way. ] You didn't think you'd seen all of the TARDIS, did you?

[That is agape amusement happening just before he busts out laughing.]

Rude! That is rude, Rose Tyler!

[She'd be more worried about it if he weren't laughing. As it is, she starts laughing as well, leaning against him in the process.]

Guess m'pickin' up more traits from you.

Not...exactly. [She didn't think she'd missed a garden] But isn't a garden usually more...outside?

[She still thinks of the TARDIS as an inside thing in the way that buildings are inside.]

Yeah, the TARDIS flies a lot better when you're with me.

Oi! [She bumps him with her knee but she's still giggling.] That's rude! Doesn't surprise me though. She likes me.

You started it, and yes, she does. Quite a bit. Anyway I've always been rude; it's expected by now.

Doesn't matter. We can bring outside indoors. There's plenty of room for it. There's a swimming pool too, somewhere in there.

Guess in that case I'll have to allow it. I'll just comfort m'self with the fact that at least somebody loves me. [Cue dramatic sigh. Don't panic, Doctor. She's teasing you.]

Heard 'bout the pool. Never did find it though. Shame. [She did have a swim suit on board just in case]

You'll have to ask himself to show it to you. Never one much for swimming, me. But some companions liked it a lot.

I'll add it to m'list of demands. [It's said teasingly but she's got quite the list. She pauses a moment.] Is it weird? Knowin' you're goin' to become him?
