[She's quiet for several seconds and when she does speak, her voice is quiet and plaintive.] I don't want you to be alone. [Either of him.]

I'm not runnin' off forever. Might even stay in the building. Just... think it might be a good idea.

[She can't argue, not after Boxing Day. Really, she should have known better and not gotten between them but... Finally she nods.] Bet you can get a flat on the same floor then I'll just down the hall like we're in the TARDIS. [She's still sad about this even if she does see the point in it.]

There's a thought. I'll even give you the extra key, all right? [ He attempts to sound cheery. ] But no decoratin'.

Deal. [She's attempting as well. She's just not succeeding.] I'm sorry. [She's not entirely sure what she's apologizing for to be honest.]

No apologies from you. [ Sternly. ] Entirely my fault. Should have known better, even if it was a curse. That's not going to happen again.

[The stern thing makes her smile. He does it in a very different way from the other him, a way she missed.] Okay. Good. You should be nicer to yourself. You're a good man, Doctor. Now and later.

Been tryin'! [ Before they'd gotten in a fight, they'd managed to have a very civil conversation, even. ] It'd be better if we weren't in such close quarters. Really.

I know. [And she does. She really does but she's still trying not to cry. She knows it's ridiculous too. She'll still have both of them. She'll still see both of them every day. She's being ridiculous and she's aware of it but there's some part of her that's afraid if he gets too far away from her, he's going to disappear. She's got the same fear with the other one and spends a good deal of her time practically attached at the hip.] I can come see you every day, right?

Be shocked if you didn't. I'd have to come look in on you, make sure you weren't sick.

Okay. No decoratin'. I promise. [Watch her bring over things like flowers in vases and blankets and pillows and basically...decorate.]

First I'd better get a job. Might even be fun. [ He's trying to convince himself of this. ] I worked for UNIT once, long time ago.

[She'd suggest City Solutions...but...well it's a big place, right?] Yeah, they told me. When I was lookin' for you they told me that you had.

Too much paperwork. Don't know how I stood it for so long. This time I'll have to get a secretary.

Might look into City Solutions. They've got a lot of labs, big building. [Should be able to avoid himself if he tries.]

[ He makes a flourish, checking it off on an invisible list. ] Done and done.

...Might. [ He's not sure if he wants to work where his future self does. But it's a possibility. ] Wouldn't be a bad thing to get into a lab again.

[She giggles a bit at his flourish. She's forgotten this one does that.]

Could probably find some other places too that'll suit you. I can help with the paperwork stuff 'til you find someone.

[She does it for Cinna. It won't be anything to do some of his too.]

Don't have any now, but if I get some, I'll push it your way. Since you volunteered.

[ He grins. He might have to make up some paperwork now, just to tease her. ]

[She doesn't mind really. Well she might eventually depending on how much paperwork there actually is but at the moment she doesn't mind.]
