Well it's not quite the horrible blood and death curses I've been warned 'bout. Could be worse, yeah? I mean to put it all in perspective. S'what we've got a delete button for.

Private to The Doctor

Working late. Come pick me up when you get hungry. We'll have chips. [Attached to the text message are a few files that Rose doesn't notice: 001 002 003 004 005 006]

[There's probably a somewhat impressive pause when she first picks up, and then a voice that's clearly attempting a level of modulation he's not entirely capable of at the moment.]

Rose?

[Rose does wonder a bit at the pause and then when his voice doesn't sound quite right.]

Yeah? Somethin' wrong, Doctor? [She stops working on the display and starts to pace, mentally figuring what she'd need to grab when running out of here.]

Erm. Chips, was it? You wanted- you wanted chips? Just... Regular old chips, yeah?

Yeah. 'Less you want a special kind. M'just 'bout finished here so you got good timing.

[She pauses a moment.]

You sure everythin's all right?

Nononononono! I mean, regular ones are... fine. I just... Di-... Di-, did you kn--, did you know that you added some... pictures?

Why would I--[And then she stops because she's going back to look at her device. And you can probably hear her face turn beat red.] How did they even ge-I didn't--Oh bloody...[And then whispered because she's mortified] m'sorry.

[He's still a little on the squeaky side, speech wise.] No! I-I mean, no, they're... fine. Lovely pictures. Just wasn't sure what they had to... do with chips. You want chips now?

Okay. Good. [Now that she knows the pictures are okay. Or at least that he's not angry or upset or...something, the squeaky voice makes her grin.]

Yeah. Chips now'd be brilliant. Meet you outside the shop? Cinna's liable to put you to work if you come inside.

Oh, yeah, some of them are just boring. To get your guard down, I think.

[Nahh, just dealing with about five years of frustration and a reproductive system that he's normally got complete control over.]

[...Why hello, Billie Piper. Fred claps a hand over his mouth in an attempt to hide a grin.]

[Leave it to Cinna to see all the porn and judge for modeling potential.]

Yeah? So the others really are that bad? I've only been here a month or so.

[Oh once she gets over the mortification that she's still struggling with she'll enjoy this.]

[He gets a bit of a laugh out of her but when he gets 'round to the shop, she'll be outside. She's almost wishing she'd dressed up today but really she just looks like Rose: jeans and a pink hoodie zipped up over a black tank top.]

[Still entirely unaware that these can be viewed by anyone but the Doctor. And she's a bit preoccupied by trying to figure out how he's reacting so that she can know how to react to think about it.]

Y'know, when you just delete somethin' you don't wanna look at? Like when you get those spam emails that always tend to be from Scotland or somethin' tellin' you there's a fortune waitin' for you if you'll pay closin' costs on the trust.

[She gives him a 'what are you talking about' face.]

Never was the Twiggy type. Not since I turned 'bout twelve. [And then realization dawns on her. Somehow the photos were avaliable to more than the Doctor. She turns bright red. At least Cinna is handling it "professionally". That makes it a bit better.] Guess you know that though.

[Great. That'll really help.]

Oh. [She could be wearing just about anything right now and it won't matter; he still just sees the pictures sort of rotating mentally when he looks at her. So he's still a tad on the squeaky.] Hi. Chips? We're getting-, we're getting chips, yeah? Good old chips. Normal... chips.

They can be. Just wait until you get turned into a fish or something weird like that.

[He's just gonna...keep his hand there for a second because another one popped up and this is so weird before lowering it and biting back his smile.]

Sounds like a load of, er, Muggle nonsense. How does it, [Do not laugh, Freddie.], how's it work, then?

I know talent. It just occurred to me yesterday that since I'll be asking your Doctor friend friend to wear one of my suits, I could make you a matched pair. I'm already doing a set for Katniss and Peeta, I have one that I think would go marvelously for the two of you as well.

[He just now notices the face.]

Rose, have I said something out of turn?

[Well it'll help Rose. Not so much the Doctor. They've got different goals. At least for the moment. Or maybe the Doctor is struggling with those goals. She's still a bit red faced but the squeaky voice makes her grin and she reaches out to take his hand. There's no way she's going to let minor mortification and a curse ruin their friendship.]

Good, old, normal chips. Though I wouldn't argue if they were fresh chips, 'stead of old ones. Still good and normal though. [And now she feels like they're talking some sort of code.]

Fish might be interestin'. Long as I get changed back.

[By the point she's realized that somehow the pictures were public. The pictures she hadn't even intended to send to the Doctor. She sighs and turns a bit red.]

Fairly sure it's an option before you opened the pictures. Y'know: Preview, save, delete. That sorta thing.

No. Actually, not. You're one of the only ones to say somethin' right. [She runs a hand back through her hair and gives him a small smile.]

If you'll make somethin' for me, I'd love to model it. Just make me look stunnin', yeah?
