Figure I've settled in, gotten a flat and it's time to see about a job. Probably best if I post m'resume up here.

* experienced shop girl * Somewhat commanded a military unit and assisted in the research of multi-dimensional travel * Some experience with diplomacy between human and alien races. * Good with the running * Easily adapts to new environments and people * Known in one dimension as Rose Tyler, Defender of the Earth * Excellent at thinking on my feet * Bronze medal in Gymnastics

[Twenty minutes later or so, Rose walks into the flower shop with a grin. She waves at Hanna.]

'ello. I'm Rose. [She holds her hand out to shake]

[He grins and takes the hand, giving it a good shake.]

Pleasure to meet you, Rose. Hanna Cross, at your service!

S'nice to meet you too, Hanna. [After shaking his hand, she puts her hands in her back pockets and looks around the flower shop, attempting to see anything out of the ordinary here.]

[He'll show her something out of the ordinary, as he draws a rune on one hand and places that hand on a pot...where the flowers start to grow to an abnormal size.]

[Rose stares with her mouth agape then looks up at Hanna with a big grin.] Blimey...that's fantastic. [She reaches out tentatively to touch the flowers then leans in to smell them.]

[He grins and tries to manipulate one of the flowers to wave a leaf at Rose.]

I'm glad you like em!

[She giggles a little, turning her attention back to Hanna.]

Can you manipulate anything? Or just flowers? [Not that it's not impressive but perhaps not useful]

Well, I can do more than flowers, and it's not just manipulation. Mostly, I like to shoot laser esque things out of my hands...but that's a bit dangerous to do in the shop, heheh.

Lasers from your hands? [Her eyebrows are raises and she's half way to a smile.]

Something like that. Magic, can't really explain...

...I have got to get test dummies set up. It makes showing off much easier...

[He's not gonna mention the whole magic tainting the blood thing.]

Yeah. Give you a chance to practice with it too. [She's poking about the flower shop a bit as they talk.]

It'd be nice to practice more, yeah...

[May make him tougher on the inside. Or not. Who knows!]

Anyway, welcome to the shop. I know it's not much, but...it's colorful...

No, it's nice. [And she leans in to smell some of the flowers.] You do deliveries?

Yep! I'm always trying to get new help, because people keep up and going home on me!

[That sort of makes her feel bad for not helping out.] Sorry 'bout that. It happens a lot here? People goin' home?

Yeah...that's actually how I ended up with the shop. My friend Doumeki was the manager before, and I worked for him...before he left, he told me to take care of the shop.

And that's what I've been doing ever since.

Good for him he had you to take over, yeah?

I think so, yeah. What can I say, I'm loyal to my pals.

That's a good quality to have.

Well, I try, you know?

Looks like you do a fair 'nough job. Shop's nice.

Thanks...it was much more organized when Doumeki was manager, though.

That's alright though, yeah? Some people are more organized than others.

Exactly! I mean, Doumeki was really organized...and I'm not.
